Youth exchange in Czech Republic

🇨🇿✨ An Experience that Unites Europe!
From October 25th to November 1st, five young people from the BIM Taloro area and the Barbagia di Seulo took part in an Erasmus+ youth exchange in Hrádek, Czech Republic, together with peers from Malta, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
A week full of encounters, activities, discoveries, and personal growth 🌍💬

💭 Their voices tell the story:
Martina: “My Erasmus experience in the Czech Republic was truly educational. I had the chance to meet people from different parts of Europe, improve my English, and discover other cultures. The project activities were interesting and helped me develop new skills, especially in teamwork and communication.”

Adele: “This experience helped me in many ways; I grew as a person and feel more independent. Since there were many people from different countries, with whom I immediately built a great relationship, I had the opportunity to improve my English and learn about new cultures. I also had the chance to explore new places and try new things.
I want to thank everyone who helped me take part in this wonderful experience 🥰.”

Francesco: “Considering it was my first Erasmus experience, it was really great. The most fun part was meeting new people and learning things about their culture or some words in foreign languages. The lodge was in good condition, and I never had any problems with the staff. Overall, I had a lot of fun, and I’d definitely do it again.”

Maura: “During my study trip in the Czech Republic, I had the opportunity to broaden my cultural knowledge and discover realities different from my own. This experience allowed me to improve my language skills and interact with new people, also thanks to the many activities offered.”

Giorgia: “It was a wonderful experience that I would definitely do again. It made me much more independent and allowed me to meet new people with habits, traditions, and languages different from mine. This experience made me realize how important it is to know English in order to communicate nowadays.”

Matteo GL: “Taking part in this youth exchange was an interesting and truly educational experience. As the group leader of the Italian team, I accompanied a group of young participants in a European project, together with peers (aged 15–17) from the Czech Republic, Malta, Slovakia, and Spain. We discussed entrepreneurship, the job market, and even created ‘mock’ companies together.
I had the chance to lead some activities, such as the SWOT analysis workshop and the Italian cultural evening—moments that allowed the participants to challenge themselves, have fun, and learn together. It was great to see how the group bonded and how everyone found their own space.
For me, it was also a journey of personal growth: I improved my communication, group management, and flexibility.
I return home with new skills, beautiful memories, laughter, and the motivation to continue promoting international experiences for the young people of my community.”
